Day 39: Edge to Edge
The frame as an active participant.

The principle
The edges of a poster are not just limits — they are part of the composition. Elements that touch, cross or nearly touch an edge create relationships with the frame. Margins create calm; bleeds create expansion; near-misses create tension. Every edge decision says something.
Objective. Treat the edges of the canvas as active compositional elements.
The brief
Design a poster for a skate park opening where every element interacts with at least one edge.
Constraints
- Every element must touch, bleed or nearly touch an edge
- Nothing floating in the middle
- Maximum three colours
You're done when
- All elements engage with the edges
- An active, energetic frame
- A considered empty centre
Stretch goal
Design the poster so it could be tiled with copies of itself to create a continuous pattern.
