Day 37: Circle, Square, Triangle
Three primitive shapes and nothing else.

The principle
The circle, square and triangle are the building blocks of visual form. Each has character: the circle is complete and soft, the square is stable and solid, the triangle is directional and sharp. Composing with only these three teaches you how simple forms create complex meaning through placement, scale and interaction.
Objective. Create a meaningful composition from basic geometric primitives.
The brief
Design a poster for a children’s science festival using only circles, squares and triangles.
Constraints
- Only circles, squares and triangles (plus text)
- Each shape must appear at least once
- Shapes may overlap, crop and scale
- Maximum four colours
You're done when
- Only the three primitives used
- A dynamic, intentional arrangement
- Appropriate tone for the audience
Stretch goal
Represent an object — a rocket, a face, a building — using only the three shapes.
